2019 Beginner Course Open
It is important to understand what beginners yoga means. The term ‘beginner’ implies a person who has never tried Yoga before. However, it is the opposite at Sadhana Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda. Many students who have come through the door have tried yoga before and felt there was beneﬁt but couldn’t keep up with the bendy 20-30 year old teacher and 20 to 50 other students.
Good news……This is not the kind of Yoga taught at Sadhana Yoga School!
The beginners classes started 3 years ago and the vast majority of those students (ranging in age from 25 to 60) are still practicing 2 to 3 times per week and have felt major changes physically and mentally. The course is designed to empower you by becoming comfortable in your skin. There is a focus on relaxation, awareness, stability, and flexibility in mind and body. Lets be hon-est, most people just want to be able to bend down and tie their shoelaces without pain, sleep well and know how to unwind.
Through completing a 3 year apprenticeship and teaching experience, I have developed necessary skills to work with people ranging in age from 9 to 90 (not a catchphrase this is true). These classes are only offered twice yearly and are capped at 9 in a class so if it something that interests you, book in now.
